Small Kitchen Room Ideas

Thick Ledge

While our 2017 Kitchen of the Year did not skimp in space, San Francisco designer Jon de la Cruz used plenty of efficient tricks to max out the room. The chunky 11/4-inch-thick Caesarstone counter extends the wall up to the bottom of the window, making a place to get a soap dispenser (or wine glass).

Subway Tile

To pretend a bright farmhouse kitchen at a Manhattan apartment, Celerie Kemble painted the cupboards Benjamin Moore's White Dove. The white-tiled walls, along with brass hardware and a chandelier, create the illusion of added sunlight.

Appliance Garage

To maintain the countertops clear, de la Cruz tucked the toaster and coffeemaker off in a glossy appliance garage, while the stand mixer pops up from its own designated cabinet as a result of a spring-loaded shelf, installing tv on wall mount near me.

Stovetop Shelf

To expand a tiny kitchen in his San Francisco apartment, designer Scot Meacham Wood added additional shelves. The cabinetry is in Ralph Lauren Paint's Interior Semigloss in Scuba Black. The curtains are a Christopher Hyland plaid.
